The Production Supervisor at Jawa International Limited is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant production of pharmaceutical products. This role involves leading a team of production personnel, monitoring production processes, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and achieving production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of production operators and technicians during manufacturing shifts.
Ensure all production activities comply with approved SOPs, Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), and GMP standards.
Monitor production processes to ensure they run smoothly, efficiently, and within specified parameters.
Achieve daily/weekly production targets while maintaining product quality.
Conduct regular in-process checks and ensure timely sampling and testing.
Identify and resolve production issues, deviations, and equipment problems promptly.
Enforce safety, health, and environmental policies on the production floor.
Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to improve performance and compliance.
Ensure proper line clearance, cleaning, and setup before and after production runs.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams for smooth operations.
Maintain accurate production records, logs, and reports.
Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of CAPA for production-related deviations.
Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
Prepare production reports and communicate shift performance to management.
Education: B.Sc./HND in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related Physical/Biological Sciences.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical production, preferably in a supervisory role.
Skills and Competencies:

In-depth knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and production documentation systems.
